Product Summary

The L7808CV is a positive voltage regulator. The L7808CV regulator can provide local on-card regulation, eliminating the distribution problems associated with single point regulation. If adequate heat sinking is provided, the L7808CV delivers over 1A output current. Although designed primarily as fixed voltage regulator the L7808CV can be used with external components to obtain adjustable voltage and currents.
